Call for Book Reviewers

Phi Kappa Phi Forum, the Society’s multidisciplinary quarterly magazine, is seeking an experienced writer to serve as a book reviewer for its Fall 2015 edition. The selected writer will be invited to review Memory Man by David Baldacci. The length of the review should be 500-750 words and is due in draft form by June 15, 2015.

To be considered, please email Traci Navarre at tnavarre@phikappaphi.org with a brief description of your professional credentials and why you would like to review Memory Man. Please also include additional links and/or attachments of writing samples. The selected reviewer will receive a free copy of the book upon its release on April 21.

AT&T Discount Increased to 14 Percent

Phi Kappa Phi members are now eligible to receive a 14 percent monthly discount on wireless phone service from AT&T. The discount, up from 10 percent, is available on qualifying voice and data plans.

Members currently enrolled in an AT&T plan with the 10 percent discount will receive the new discount automatically. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the discount to take effect. New and existing AT&T customers not yet receiving the discount offered through Phi Kappa Phi can register for the discount by visiting www.att.com/wireless/phikappaphi or bringing a Phi Kappa Phi membership card and photo ID to a local AT&T store. Please note not all retails stores may honor the discount.

Phi Kappa Phi Announces Study Abroad Grant Winners

Phi Kappa Phi recently announced the winners from Session A of the 2015 Study Abroad Grant program. The 25 recipients from across the country will receive a grant of $1,000 each.

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants are designed to support undergraduates, both members and nonmembers, as they seek expanded knowledge and experience in their academic fields. Since the program's inception in 2001, the Society has awarded more than $700,000 in Study Abroad Grants.
